Hi and welcome to Jaimefit.com. My name is Jaime Morales. I am a fitness coach and trainer as well as a graphic artist on the side. I have been swimming, doing triathlons and playing tennis since the age of 10 years old. I have coached, been coached and trained for over 30 years. I was a personal trainer and fitness instructor at Equinox gym for 7 years. I have trained many clients including top CEO’s from various fields. My mission is to help people get strong and flexible from the inside out. When I train, I train to win. When I coach, I coach to transform. I am here to help anyone who wants to win triathlons, golf tournaments or tennis matches as well as people with musculoskeletal injuries. And of course, train people who simply need to lose weight, get into a serious fitness routine and get 6 pack abs before the summer.

I’m from Puerto Rico and my great grandmother used to be a well known healer back in her days. Her specialty was curing people with digestive problems and poor diets. I am grateful to also have this knowledge at my disposal. My training philosophy is teaching students how to flow from strength to flexibility until a perfect balance is reached. Flow is the most important component. Flowing is learning how to breathe properly and naturally again. My job is teaching you how to master the art of breathing during strength and flexibility training exercises. Upon meeting I will ask you all sorts of important questions that will allow me to target your specific needs immediately: How old are you? How do you feel about it? Are you healthy? Are you fit now? Have you ever felt healthy and fit? What’s your nutrition and exercise history? What’s your family history on health, nutrition and exercise? And many many more.

The workouts and coaching sessions will be intense but manageable. Besides teaching you everything you will ever need to know about breathing, I will also teach you about how to care for your bones, joints and muscles. Our training will be mostly to align and realign misaligned bones and joints and eventually the muscles. We will have a plan in place on how to heal and recover from our sessions. Recovering from workouts and learning how to digest food quickly and naturally will be key to our success.

3 components will make up our training program: Intention, motivation and discipline.

Intention: What you hope to achieve.
Motivation: What will drive you, all day everyday, to achieve this goal.
Discipline: This is where I come in. The discipline will include the diet, the training and the integration.

FITNESS
We will balance traditional strength training with dynamic flexibility. Our main goal is to maximize your body’s potential every single second of our time together. We will make every move, exercise and posture as powerful and effective as possible. You will feel your body and joints working well again. We will work diligently to strengthen your core which is key to feeling your spine working as one strong unit. It won’t be easy, but I promise we will have a good time together!

FOOD
Together, we will decide what foods and daily habits we need to keep or skip. The main purpose of cleaning our way of eating is to restore balance within the body. Hydration and proper nutrition are huge components to our fitness routine. My personal food program is a combination between healthy and delicious foods. Healthy foods are typically hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables while delicious foods like coffee, pizza and a steak are typically dehydrating foods. Figuring out the right balance between those will be at the top of our to-do-list. Your new eating routine will be manageable and sustainable. I will teach you important techniques that will help you start craving whole foods that are tasty and nutritious. It is my personal and professional opinion that going at a slow and steady pace will determine our level of success.

FOCUS
Focusing on the things we want will be important for our success. I will teach you how to quiet the mind and regain the ability to breathe deeply and mindfully. In my fitness world, there are two types of focus. Macro and micro focus. Macro focus is focusing on everything going on externally while the micro focus is focusing on everything going on internally. Our training will be mostly breath work with intense, safe and effective exercise combinations. Our time together will physically and energetically open your heart so you start working with your body and not against it, every single day.

FIERCE CLIENT TRANSFORMATION: STEVEN GAMBREL AND JAMES ANDERSON

I have known Steven Gambrel and James Anderson for over 10 years now, but it wasn’t until a few months into the 2020 Pandemic that we connected and started working out together. We clicked immediately and so I was able to teach them everything I have learned in the past 15 years as a personal trainer and health coach in New York City. And luckily, they responded really well to it!

It wasn’t perfect in the very beginning. Their main goals were to grow stronger muscles, get a leaner physique and to feel quick and agile throughout their daily lives without much mobility work or stretching. I had to patiently teach them the HOW’s and WHY’s of stretching, breathing and foam rolling before and after each session. There was a bit of resistance at first, but after a few solid months of intense training they couldn’t get enough of it. And that made me happy because I knew everything else would fall into place!

We trained 5 days a week for over 2 years and the results are incredible. I taught them everything they need to know about their physical, mental and emotional bodies. Their bodies quickly started to change for the better. They were smart enough to also incorporate important dietary habits that are simple and enjoyable to follow. Stress management is extremely important to our overall program and it’s the key to long term healthy results.

We had a blast during our group workouts in the city as well as in the Hamptons. From The Ranch Malibu, a luxury health retreat center in California, I was fortunate enough to train the owners Alex and Sue Glasscok. Chris Connor, Solange Willems and the rest of the gang were always up for a tough and fierce JAIMEFIT workout. It sure helps to be surrounded by health conscious friends!
